Start.

For such a new car, the level of swirl was very heavy.
Here is a fine example of why a new car should have an exterior detail,
but not necessarily from the dealership.

You can see the buffer hazing on the center pillar. These buffer lines are on most panels.
Cause? Probably the dealership lot detailer.

Lots of swirls and scratches.

Example of lack of reflections. Is it any wonder why?

Taped off and front fender work is started. Goal is to find proper pad/polish combo
and recheck in sunlight before moving on to the rest of the car.

Looks like the combo is working.

It was pretty hot that day, had to turn the car around to complete the rear..
Bodywork in the sun was 145 degrees.

Checking body in preparation for Menzerna Micro polishing.
Faint scuffing is from pad/Super Intensive Polish combo.

Final polish/waxing next morning.
This car was Micro polished the night before, and again the next morning.

Finished.

Reflections pop when finely polished. (and waxed)

Example of a 350Z
Quite different from a NISMO.

New car buyers frequently ask why they should choose a pro service over the dealership detailer.
It isn't because the dealership has a secret line on a super long lasting paint sealant. (not!)
It is because the dealership wouldn't be able to afford 6-10 hours of
fine polishing before applying the final products.
The Nissan NISMO. Bold, nicely upgraded suspension, interior and bodywork.
Now it only needs twin turbos!
